About Dr. Davis
I am a Professor at Kutztown University with interests in physical geography, meteorology, climatology, and gaming geography.
While my training is in the atmospheric sciences and climate modeling, I have recently diverged into geographical education through gaming. I would identify as a mix of a physical geographer-atmospheric scientist-geography gamer. I am also involved in undergraduate student research. Many of my research students have presented at geography conferences.

I am originally from the Cleveland, Ohio area but eastern Pennsylvania is now my home. I started as an undeclared undergraduate, but I knew wanted to get into the science or math field in school. I made the choice to study atmospheric science because it has a little bit of everything: beauty, power, mystery, intrigue. Over the years in Ohio, I have seen some great weather ranging from oppressive heat waves, heavy lake effect snows, severe thunderstorms, and few tornadoes.

I enjoy researching in the atmospheric sciences and eclectic geography subjects while interacting with the great people. I take great joy in teaching students about the wonders within the realm of atmospheric sciences and geography and always make time to be available for them.
