Besides my professional life at Kutztown, I do have many other interests and hobbies.

I enjoy watching sports, especially my hometown Cleveland Guardians and Cleveland Browns.  Ice hockey is another one of my interests, and my team is the Columbus Blue Jackets.  I am always up for talking sports with my students and usually incorporate them into lecture somehow.

Movies are another joy of mine.  I tend to gravitate toward animated and fantasy films.  Movie references are a big part of my lecture material!  I am the advisor for the Anime Club on campus as I enjoy watching anime and reading the periodical manga.

​

I like to garden and typically have many flowers and vegetables going in the summer time. 

​

I take great pride in my "nerdiness".  I play Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons each week.  I will periodically roll my d20 in lecture to determine the course of the lecture.
